Thanksgiving Accident

I wanted to mention that Brenda and Terry (Aunt Catherine & Uncle Darrell's daughter and son-in-law) had an auto accident on their way to Stokes on Thanksgiving morning. The accident occurred near Chocowinity where some road construction was taking place. They are fine, other than a leg injury and a totaled vehicle! The angels were with them!

Congratulations on 60 Years of Marriage

My aunt and uncle from Stokes, Catherine & Darrell Bullock, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with family and friends at Parkers on Saturday. They were married 60 years ago on December 9th and traveled to Jacksonville, Florida, to honeymoon. Apparently, when they arrived the weather was similar to the weather now, as it was unseasonally cold in Florida 60 years ago, as well. LOL We wish them many, many more years of happiness.

A New Eagle Scout in the Family

I am so proud of my grandson, Christopher O'Neal, who went before the Eagle Review Board this week and was awarded his Eagle Badge. He is the first Eagle Scout from Troup 15 in over 20 years. Needless to say we congratulate Chistopher on his journey of accomplishment and hard work. I want to thank Scott and Karen for their support and encouragement in helping Christopher meet this goal. Congratulations, Christopher on a job well done.
