"Looks like they have identified the fungus in the blood (it was one of the easily treatable ones) and the antibiotic seems to be taking care of it; however his bilirubin number has not come down for the last 3 days which is a concern..It is still way too high so they have to try to figure out what is causing it to stay high. Looks like his stay at UNC will continue for a while longer. Hopefully they can determine what is the root cause of this number staying elevated and not decreasing. Thanks for your concern"
